Join curators for tours of Shape of Thought: The Book as Art. This exhibition highlights works from The Bancroft Library’s rich collection of contemporary artists’ books and includes works from renowned local and international artists. It encompasses handmade books using a wide range of texts, illustration techniques, and formats. The books reflect many themes, including creative interpretations of poetry, prose, history, and science; responses to current political and social events and issues; meditations on the vagaries of existence; and interrogations of bookmaking itself.
