Explore the incredible diversity of plant habitats from six continents: redwood forests, deserts, tropical forests, and wetlands. Feast your senses on collections of orchids, carnivorous plants, roses, and more! Homecoming guests can visit via a guided tour or stroll independently. Admission for Homecoming guests is included in the Class Pass. The Garden is open seven days a week from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Last entry at 4:30 p.m.

Docent-led tours are available on: Saturday, October 7 at 11 a.m. and Sunday, October 8 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Join us on Sunday, October 8 for a special Homecoming Weekend Concert: Sonny and the Sunsets in the Redwood Grove!

Note

  • Access on Saturday may be limited due to football road closures.
  • On Friday, visitors may ride the free H Line (Hill) Shuttle which departs every 30 minutes from the Hearst Mining Circle.
  • On Saturday and Sunday, a free shuttle will be running a loop from Witter Parking Lot to the Lawrence Hall of Science Lot for overflow parking to accommodate all visitors.
