Lawrence Hall of Science Free Admission
Visit UC Berkeley’s public science center, where visitors of all ages are encouraged to investigate, discover, and invent. Explore the math and science of pitch, rhythm, and percussion in our Making Music exhibit; visit Virtually Human, the first and only interactive exhibit on artificial intelligence in the country designed for families and children; and meet animal species originating from across the world in our Animal Discovery Zone. Admission for Homecoming guests is free when you pre-register; Homecoming guests also receive a 10% discount at the Lawrence's Discovery Store during their visit. Please Note:
- We strongly recommend visiting on Friday or Sunday since access on Saturday may be limited due to football road closures.
- Friday: Visitors may ride the free H Line (Hill) Shuttle, which departs every 30 minutes from the Hearst Mining Circle.
- Saturday: A free shuttle may be available between Witter Parking Lot and Lawrence Hall of Science Lot for overflow parking, depending on the football game schedule.
- Sunday: A free shuttle will be running a loop from Witter Parking Lot to the Lawrence Hall of Science Lot for overflow parking to accommodate all visitors. Shuttles for pedestrians will also run every half hour from Hearst Mining Circle to the Botanical Gardens.
