Docent-led Tour of the UC Botanical Garden

UC Botanical Garden Docent Tours

Join a trained docent to learn about the diversity of plants from six continents. Each tour features the garden’s seasonal highlights and unique collections. Indoor collections are not included on tours at this time. Tours are one hour long. Sign up in person on the day of the tour at the garden entrance. Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission for Homecoming guests is included in the Class Pass. Docents tailor tours to accommodate visitors with limited mobility.

Docent-led tours are available on Saturday, October 7, at 11 a.m., and Sunday, October 8 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The Garden is open seven days a week from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Last entry at 4:30 p.m.

Note

Access on Saturday may be limited due to football road closures. On Friday, visitors may ride the free H Line (Hill) Shuttle which departs every 30 minutes from the Hearst Mining Circle. On Saturday and Sunday, a free shuttle will be running a loop from Witter Parking Lot to the Lawrence Hall of Science Lot for overflow parking to accommodate all visitors.
