What is Homecoming?
Homecoming is the campus’s largest annual event welcoming thousands of alumni, parents, and students to enjoy a weekend of fun on campus. Festivities include class reunions, family events, faculty seminars, tours and open houses, a barbeque, and athletic events.

How do I register?
You may register online, by phone, by mail, or on-site. Visit the registration page for details.

How much does it cost?
The registration fee is $15 per person and includes unlimited access to faculty seminars, campus museums, libraries, and other destinations; special tours; golf-cart service; snacks; and more. This fee is nonrefundable. Some reunion and parent events, as well as reserved parking, incur additional costs outlined on the registration form.

How do I get my nametag, tickets, and program?
You can download the program, or pick one up — along with your nametag and event tickets — at Homecoming Headquarters when you arrive. If you are going straight to a reunion or Cal Parents event, your materials will be held at the door.

Does Homecoming registration include football tickets?
No. The Golden Bears are playing their 2011 home football games at San Francisco's AT&T Park while Memorial Stadium undergoes a retrofit. Single game tickets for the Cal vs. USC game on Thursday are not included with Homecoming registration and are sold out. You may purchase season tickets on calbears.com or by calling 800.GO.BEARS.

Where should I stay?
Go to visitberkeley.com for info on where to stay, dine, shop, and more. Make your hotel reservations early.

How do I get to campus?
Since parking is limited, we recommend public transportation. Visit 511.org for Bay Area bus and train schedules, maps, and other transit resources. Once you arrive on campus, Bear Transit shuttles are available for a small fee, or golf carts can escort you around campus for free. Stop by Homecoming Headquarters or any info booth to arrange for a pickup.

Where do I park?
Reserved parking in the MLK Student Union Garage is available only to disabled guests, the Class of 1961 and older, and alumni attending their reunion. Non-reserved parking is available in public lots throughout Berkeley all weekend and on campus on Saturday and Sunday. Charges and hours vary. See the campus map, city map, or call 888.UNIV.CAL (888.864.8225) for assistance.

What do I wear?
Your favorite blue and gold clothes! Be prepared for warm, cold, or rainy weather. Stop by the Cal Student Store in the MLK Student Union for memorabilia, books, and other necessities. We recommend cocktail attire for your reunion.

Can I change or cancel my registration?
You may change or cancel your registration through October 3 by calling 888.UNIV.CAL (888.864.8225). Please note that the $15 registration fee per person is nonrefundable.

Can I get the contact information for a classmate?
We are unable to give out personal info. Please e-mail us your name and contact info and the name of the person you would like to reach. We will forward it to him/her on your behalf.
